In 1997, our founder Michael Manning an Information Technology Systems Engineer founded zone Technologies, an Outsourced IT Management firm in response to the growing demand for Small Businesses Class IT Services. Initially catering to small businesses and private clients, zone Technologies soon expanded its service offerings to include more complex Enterprise Class IT Services, Infrastructure Cabling and Telecommunication Services. In addition to its business services division, zone Technologies worked with many prominent Southern California Custom Home Builders and Architects to provide their clients with personalized IT and Support Services which complemented the sophisticated Audio/Video, Control Systems and Theaters the builders were installing.

Working in both Business and High-End Residential environments provided Michael Manning a unique perspective on a broad range of analog and digital technologies, their uses and their limitations. He observed that the diverse layers of digital technology that we all use, rely upon, enjoy and are frustrated by were becoming smaller, better and faster, but not easier to use. He saw the need for the High End Audio/Video, Home Theater and Control Systems manufacturers and installers to embrace the Digital Network Technology that zone Technologies was installing and servicing in the business environment every day. It took a while, but they have. In 2008 Michael Manning founded AQEOS, a Broad-Scope, Full Service Digital Technology Integrator. zone Technologies soon joined the AQEOS team.

AQEOS was borne out of the simple idea that our world of ubiquitous digital technologies should be easy to use and work fluidly together. AQEOS bridges the gap between High Quality Outsourced IT Services and High Quality Audio/Video, Home Theater, Control Systems provider and delivers it all to you from one source.
